Well, Aaron and I were married on August 8th, 2008 in the Salt Lake City Temple. Yes we're Mormon, so if you don't like it, get over it! We met in October of 2007 when Aaron returned home from his mission in Porto Alegre Brazil. Aaron is from Layton, UT. I am from Manzanola (and more recently) Fort Collins, CO. I returned home from my mission in July 2006. I served my mission in Resistencia, Argentina. We started dating just two months after Aaron returned home (after hanging out for two months). We enjoyed each other's company through the long winter months that we had in Salt Lake. At the end of the winter, on April 10th, Aaron asked me to be his wife for all of eternity. He proposed in front of the fountain in Temple Square.
We almost impatiently enjoyed the summer months waiting for our families to meet and finally on August 8th, 2008 we were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City temple. (For more information on temples and eternal families please visit www.lds.org
As many of our friends and families have asked about our lives and plans, here they are:
School: Aaron is starting his freshman year working on his associates in Biology at Salt Lake Community College working towards Pharmacy School. I am in my last year of basic classes before hopefully entering into the classroom next fall and graduating the following Spring in Spanish teaching. Yes I am a super senior, but I'll explain that later :)
Work: I currently work at the University of Utah Hospital in the pulmonary lab, basically titrating oxygen. However, I will be moving over to the Lung Health Study Center in Research Park at the beginning of next month. There I will be working with a variety of studies and doing Pulmonary Function tests. Aaron also works in Research Park for Red Bag Solutions in which he handles biohazardous waste materials.
Children: This is a question many of you have asked and here is the answer. We have decided to not put off education or work to have children. We have decided not to prevent a pregnancy in any way and let a child come when Heavenly Father decides to allow us to care for one. Family please don't worry, we will let you know when we are pregnant. Well until the next time :)
