From student teaching, to graduating, to moving to Texas, moving from Texas, living with friends and being jobless, to being settled back in, and enjoying the last hours of the year with wonderful people. Taking the example of a friend I would just like to share some of the highlights 2010.

January: Starting my student teaching and going from full time at work to barely working 5 hours a week.

February: Being more busy than I thought humanly possible. Juggling student teaching and classes.....really fun though.

March: finishing student teaching and really realizing just how hard Aaron had worked to make sure I was able to do my student teaching without having to worry so much about working.

April: Enjoyed the sunshine as we celebrated me taking me finishing school after a long hard journey I had finally done it.

May: Graduation! It was done....the job hunt begins.....Trip to Colorado...definitely interesting....

June: Still no teaching job....back to working full time. Was such a great time that we had enjoying the summer sun.

July: Still no job offers until the middle of the month. We were offered a job in Ponder TX. Having to pack up our lives, quit our jobs, and moving 1300 miles from home....well that was quite an experience.

August: I started teaching and coaching at Ponder High School....which ended up being one of the most difficult and awful times of our lives....however in retrospect....we learned so much about trusting the Lord and listing to the promptings of the Spirit. We celebrated our 2 year anniversary and despite having so much going against us it was so great to be able to depend on the Lord and each other as we grew closer and stronger.

September: One of the most difficult decisions of our lives....as we decided to follow the promptings of the Holy Ghost, I quit my job and we moved back to Utah.....Started our difficult journeys of trusting that we had made the right decision. When we arrived we were received with open arms and are so thankful for the generosity and love of friends We were also able to celebrate Aaron's birthday which was extremely fun.

October: I found a job....we enjoyed the warm weather and really the company of each other. I got called as the Activities Coordinator at Church and was able to plan a rockin' Halloween party in less than a month.

November: Aaron found work and we finally were able to move to our new apartment. We were reunited with our "sons" (cats) after two long months of them staying with Anson.

December: Snow! Blah! Christmas was especially special this year as it was just the two of us. I made a full on Christmas dinner which was great for us to share together....just to get rid of that turkey......Last day of the year one of Aaron's mission companions came to visit from Brazil, and is currently staying with us for a while. We spent the last few hours of 2010 on temple square freezing and then came home and spent time reminicissing and being in good company

We look forward to 2011 with great hope and faith. Heavenly Father, despite all the trials he has given us, has blessed us beyond belief. I am so thankful for the gospel in my life and so thankful that he has sent me the wost wonderful man on this earth to me to be my eternal companion.

New Blog

So I've decided to blog in Spanish as well. If any of you would like to read the blog in Spanish...this is the link....
http://aaronymariacall.blogspot.com

It was a short and crazy ride

Who would have thought that our time here in Texas would have been so short lived. After much praying and fasting, we've decided to pack it up and go home. I was misled in the job description and became ill and very depressed and worn out rather quickly after being told I would be coaching and teaching (not too big of a deal) however when I got here I was told I would be coaching Junior High as well. What?! So after giving it all I had for 5 weeks and only being paid a measly 1000 dollars, we decided to put it into Heavenly Father's hands...not fully prepared for what we would be guided to do. After much prayer and fasting we honestly felt as if we should talk to the athletic director here and tell him that I could no longer do the teaching part of the job and that I would love to stay and teach but I just couldn't do the coaching. The coaching was taking away from my energy, my husband, and my spirituality. This was not the easiest thing in the world to do....it was probably one of the hardest things to do in my entire life. We hoped that their hearts would be softened and they would relieve me of my coaching duties, but Heavenly Father had other plans for us. We were left without jobs and no source of income...so...scared out of our minds, we once again put prayer and fasting to work and decided to put things all in Heavenly Father's hands again. We feel like although this was a great learning experience for us and we have really learned to appreciate the things that we have, friends, family, and the Chruch so close...

It is hard not to be angry at everything that has happened, but after talking to my wonderful Mother in law....she helped me realize that Heavenly Father never ever EVER fails on His promises. As long as we keep our end of the deal, He will always keep His end of the bargain. So what now? We remain faithful, do what He has commanded and trust that He will take care of us. Thanks Mare.....I am so thankful for faithful examples in my life that help me realize that spiritual blessings are far more important than temporal ones.
Sunday, a Day to be grateful!

Today I am extremely thankful for a Heavenly Father who knows me personally and knows exactly what I need to hear. In Sunday school today, we had a lesson about Job and how although he passed through huge tribulations in his life he still remained faithful. He still never gave up. My trials are small compared to Job's but are still important to me and Heavenly Father knows that I am struggling, however He has given me this trial so that I can learn something and be a better daughter to bring about His work. How thankful I am that my elder brother Jesus Christ atoned for me and that although I feel at times that no one understands how I feel, He does. HE suffered all so He would know how to comfort me! How thankful I am. As I look forward to my first day in the classroom and as I get another task on top of coaching...faith in Jesus Christ and trust in Him will guide me through. I pray that I have the strength to remain strong and faithful so that I may gain my reward :)
I came across this poem the other day and I think it is appropriate for this situation:

Your Dimension Of Greatness

No one can know the potential,
Of a life that is committed to win;
With courage - the challenge it faces,
To achieve great success in the end!

So, explore the Dimension of Greatness,
And believe that the world CAN be won;
By a mind that is fully committed,
KNOWING the task can be done!

Your world has no place for the skeptic,
No room for the DOUBTER to stand;
To weaken your firm resolution
That you CAN EXCEL in this land!

We must have VISION TO SEE our potential,
And FAITH TO BELIEVE that we can;
Then COURAGE TO ACT with conviction,
To become what GOD MEANT us to be!

So, possess the strength and the courage,
To conquer WHATEVER you choose;
It's the person WHO NEVER GETS STARTED,
That is destined FOREVER to lose!

~ Author Unknown ~
<img life. However, on my way home from work today, I came up with the brilliant idea as President Eyring's talk from conference came into my mind about keeping a journal if all you put in it are things that you are grateful for. So I am going to try to keep up with that....maybe weekly but really try to, if nothing else, find one thing I am grateful for each day.....so today.....

I am grateful that

I have a job...in a world that is so unsure and unstable, it is humbling to know that many parents trust me with their type='text'>The adventure continues.....

Wow so much has happened since I last "blogged". I don't even know where to start. Well after months of job hunting we finally found a job and had to move. Everything all happened so fast. I applied for the job on a Friday, they called me Monday, offered me the job the next Friday and asked me if I could be down in Texas in two weeks, leaving us very little time to pack and say good bye to our dear friends and family. However, we did it and arrived in Lewisville, Texas on July 30th, 2010. Luckily I was able to find us an apartment before we got down here. Needless to say, however, our trip didn't go as smoothly as we had hoped. We packed everything up into an ABF trailer (which by the way is the way to pack your stuff and move it so you don't have to haul around a huge U-HAUL)....and packed our car with the necessities and said goodbye to our friends and family. We are truly blessed to have such great friends and family who came, helped us pack, and have shown us so much love at such a bittersweet time in our lives. As we left Salt Lake, we headed down to Aaron's parents where we stayed the night, received blessings from Aaron's dad and then headed on our way....with our hearts and bellies full. The kitties did great all the way to emery. However, we had to give them sedatives from Emery to Albuquerque. Unfortunately, the sedative had a reverse effect on the biggest one and he was such a big bully the whole ride over there. When we got to my sisters, our kitties had a nice yard to play in full of sand and stayed there the night. We had a great time with my sister and her family. We got up dark and early, about 3 in the morning to head off to Texas, but much to our dismay, one of our kitties was missing. We searched and searched to no avail and had to continue our journey without our beloved Nero. This broke our hearts and we miss him very much as he has not yet been found. We love you our sweet little negrito.

We then had to start the last leg of our journey....and the second round of sedatives, which seemed to work a bit better with Agge this time. We got to Lewisville at around 2 in the afternoon and were welcomed with about 107 degree weather...holy hotness....We got to our apartment and set up our air mattress and kind of just relaxed all day. Much to our surprise our air conditioner broke the first night we were here and we had to head to walmart at about 1130 at night to buy a fan. Finally our AC got fixed but because of the extreme temperatures....our house only gets super cool at night...
We went to church our first Sunday here and really love the people. We are attending a Spanish branch again and are looking forward to meeting some cool new people, although no one can compare to the friends we left behind.
Monday, August 2, I started my job....coaching volleyball....man the coach is crazy.....she had practice from like 9-5 or 6 every single day.....which was really hard for me. I got really stressed out that first week, but am extremely happy that my husband holds the preisthood and was willing and able to give me several priesthood blessings....and to top all of it off i got a sinus infection right when we got here....I'm slowly recovering and am glad that we are already two weeks into volleyball and I am getting more and more used to the demands on my time. We are continually trying to count our blessings and remain faithful rather than doubt the ways in which Heavenly Father has directed our lives, after all.....our decision to move here was made after much prayer unto the Lord. As a famous LDS hymn goes.....Sacrifice does bring forth the blessings of Heaven....
Tomorrow I start our teacher inservices before school starts on the 23rd. This will be an exciting new challenge for me as I finally get to have my own classroom.
The town I teach in is incredibly small (one stoplight kinda small)....the people are really sweet....but I do have my work cut out for me. The students (volleyball girls) that I have talked to have not learned spanish to the level that they should to be in Spanish two so the first semester, I believe will be a lot of review of Spanish I. However, this should be a great opportunity for me. I will keep you all updated (as often as I can). Meanwhile, Aaron is continuing on the job search and continues to be a great support to me. He truly is my angel sent from Heaven as he supports, loves, and helps me to follow my dreams, even when I question what we are doing here. I thank Heavenly Father each day for sending me the perfect man to help me fulfill my potential.
Oh I almost forgot.the Dallas Temple. Last Sunday, after a very difficult week, we drove to Dallas to see the temple. The gates were closed but we were able to park and admire the majesty of the Lord's house. Friday after feeling awful all day long, I endured the 23 miles drive to the temple so we could do a session and feel the comfort and peace of the Spirit that resides in the temple. We left feeling comforted and uplifted. The Dallas temple is an extremely small temple, but nonetheless, a temple unto the Most High God.

<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_6Vpi-Pup5a8/TGgvXRYqzCI/AAAAAAAAHs0/uv-7AQ5gjmg/s1600/dallas.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; At a time when I felt like giving up and moving back home, and then I met the love of my life. Little did I know that this love that started out so small would grow into something beautiful. Not long after meeting, we were dating, and then engaged and preparing with faith to start our eternal family. On August 8, 2008, we were sealed for time and all eternity and decided to start our family and try to have a baby....little did we know that this would be a struggle...We hoped and hoped for the first year that we would be able to get pregnant and have the greatest desire of our hearts...but Heavenly Father had other plans. Our patience has been tested over and over. Our faith has been tried as we have seen many loved ones get pregnant and have beautiful children, while we were struggling to get pregnant. The last year has been extremely difficult as every single one of Aaron's siblings that is married had a baby or is currently pregnant. We questioned what we were doing wrong in wanting a child so much...

We began seeing a doctor that didn't really help us and after six months of seeing him, I had almost lost all hope. Luckily we met Dr. Hammoud who is working hard to help us get pregnant. We had a hysterosonogram which led to the discovery that my uterus had polyps which was making it difficult for a fertilized egg to grow and thus causing me to not get pregnant, but there was a solution. Recently, Dr. Hammoud performed a Dilation and Curettage procedure in which he removed the polyps. This was an extremely painful procedure that put me out for 3 days. However, we now have renewed hope that we will be able to naturally conceive a child and have the greatest desire of our hearts....a child. Please keep us in your prayers and we will keep everyone updated as to when we have the greatest news of our lives!

On another note...of hope, faith, love, and extremely hard work. I finally graduated from the University of Utah with my B.A. in Spanish Teaching. Yes ladies and gentlemen...after years of trying to graduate from college I have finally done it and boy am I proud of myself!

I will try to update more on this blog later.....for now....adios!

Well It's about time!

Well I guess it's about time for a lot of things, considering I haven't updated the blog in pretty much forever! Lots have happened the last few months. I started and finished my student teaching at Hillcrest Junior High in the Murray, UT School District. I had a great time. Teaching Spanish is really what I was meant to do. I was extremely blessed to work with a great teacher. She is from Argentina and so we got along great! I struggled at time, but really felt comfortable teaching the classes day after day, but was very thankful when it was all over because it means.....

It's about time that I graduate from college. After 8 long years deciding what I wanted to do with my life, and 8 years filled of adventures like a mission, finding the love of all of my eternity, I am finally graduating with a B.A. from the University of Utah in Spanish Teaching! Yay for me! Graduation is in one week from today....oh am I excited! It was a long hard road, but I did it....so all the naysayers can just keep their big mouths shut!

Anyway...Aaron is working nights now, which is nice for him sometimes because things are a little calmer at work at night, most of the time, but it stinks because we don't get to see a lot of each other when he has to work...luckily he only works 3 nights a week. (Thank goodness for 12 hr shifts).

Our kitties are getting so big...Aggelium, the oldest just had his first birthday and is weighing in at 13.5 lbs, Nero, 8 lbs, and Leo 6.5 lbs. They are really fun to have around especially when Aaron is at work, or I am at work. They are very funny and fun to be around. We really love those little guys.

Next week, we head to Colorado as a graduation present to me, so hopefully, if I remember, I will post pictures of our trip.

So long for now!

The Calls!

Latest Happenings.

So I am sitting in the most boring class on the planet, and the only thing that I can do is write on our blog. Life has been so busy. We're approaching the end of the semester, and we have projects galore. So as you can imagine our life is incredibly busy and we don't really have time to do much of anything. I have a presentation that starts in about twenty minutes, and that means I only have a few more things left this semester.

Thanksgiving was so fun! I made my first ever turkey and we had a couple of friends over. It was so much fun to not have to travel or worry about visiting everyone. However, I did miss spending time with my family. Christmas will be the same, but so fun!

Our kitties are growing up so fast and Agge is getting big and fat. Nero is growing slowly but surely. He had another accident with his mouth and his chin is destined to be lower and show off his gum line a little more than other cats, and if cats had braces, he would need them. He's an ugly little critter, but so cute. One other weird thing he is doing is pacing around our heads at night or early in the morning until we wake up or throw him off of the bed.

Maybe once classes are over I will be inclined to write more, but as for now, not really. Happy Blogging.

Can't believe it's been ten years!

<img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; Ten years ago, my step dad, the man who raised me had a heart attack and died. That night changed the rest of my life. As I try to remember all of the wonderful times we had together, my heart swells with joy that I was able to have him in my life. He was my strength when times got tough. He was always a shoulder to cry on and just a great man! How many men would take in someonelse's children and raise them as his own....not many, but he did! There have been many times when I wish he could be there like when I married the man of my dreams, how I wish I could have introduced him to Aaron, because I know they would have loved each other so much! It breaks my heart that our children will never know Grandpa Sal in this life, but because of our Savior we will see him again. I will get to proudly introduce my eternal love to my dad and say I knew you would meet each other one day! How grateful I am for eternal families and the blessings of the temple that we can all be together forever.

I love you Daddy Sal!

Thus far!

Can you believe it? I am posting with less than 4 months in between posts. Oh the joys of no homework! So these last two weeks have been really fun. My little sister came into town for a visit and boy were we busy. She flew in on Saturday evening just in time for us to go to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house. That was really fun. It is quite a beautiful temple. Sunday Aaron and I went to church, and then we headed out to Adam's Canyon for a hike with my sister which was really fun. She got to see the waterfall that has been present in so many of the photos I have taken.
After that....I had to go to work and class all day on Monday, including writing a 7 page paper at 3 am so it would be finished in time for me to give my presentation at 9. So needless to say that after work, I was ready to just relax and watch movies at home. Tuesday was a different story...we went to the reservoir in the morning and had a great time. Aaron and I rafted out to an island in the reservoir and spent some time with my sister. It was great.
Wednesday we relaxed and then went to our friends' (Tyler and Michelle) wedding. It was really great to be there for that. They are such a great example to us. We were also able to see a good old friend of mine, Bryce. We all had a fun time catching up and after that we drove our way down to Emery for the night, where we slept and then made our way to Blanding, UT. On Thursday Aaron took his CNA exam, which he passed and is now looking for a job. :) After the exam, we stopped in Moab for lunch and then mozied our way into Arches National Park. there are tons of pictures from the park, so if you want to see them, CLICK HERE
We then made our way back up and spent Friday sleeping in and then dropped my sister off at the airport. We then made our way over to a friend's house to pick up a cake she made us for our anniversary since our other cake got eaten and i accidently smooshed the one aaron's mom remade for us. It was gorgeous and DELICIOUS. On 8-8-09 we headed up to Logan to celebrate our first anniversary!

We got to Logan ready to do sealings and go to the Logan temple, but as luck would have it we forgot them at home. So we just had dinner and then headed over to the Anniversary Inn. It was great. We had the whole evening to ourselves wihtout any interuptions and it was wonderful.
Well since then life has just contined as normal, as we prepare for school to start and for us to be busy all over again. So here's a quick little update about what is going on in our life.

School:
So I am just finishing up summer semester in which I have completed 12 credits in 12 short weeks. May not seem like a lot, but let me tell you being stuck in classrooms for 3 hours at a time during the summer isn't very fun at all. Anyway, I'm really excited for this upcoming school year. It will be my very last year at the University of Utah before I FINALLY graduate....yes you read it right...after many long years, and a few setbacks, I will graduate from the University of Utah with a B.A. in Spanish Teaching. It's so exciting. So for you BYU fans you must know that I like the U better, and for all you Colorado State fans, you know I will always be a RAM at heart :) So as far as Aaron's schooling goes, he's just finished up a CNA course and will be taking his state exam next week. We are really excited for that so he can apply for some jobs here soon which brings me to

Work:
Aaron lost his job in July, and we have taken advantage of that. It has given him the chance to get his foot in the nursing door. He has taken a Certified Nursing Assistant course in order to prepare him for when he finally gets into nursing school...which will probably be in a few years.
As far as work and I am concerned, I am still doing the same old thing, nothing too exciting, but we have gotten a lot busier, which is fun and stressful at the same time. I have also become full-time, which means insurance and PTO. This has been great because I have been able to take some time off and actually get paid for not being here! I mean whoever thought of that was a genius! Also, I will be going to Baltimore, MD in a few weeks for a work trip, which should be really fun. What is better than flying out to the east coast, getting your own five star hotel room for free! Well it would be a lot better if Aaron could come, but we just can't afford it right now, so I will try to enjoy it enough for the both of us!

Family:
We are still working on adding to the little Call Clan, but we feel that when Heavenly Father decides that the time is right, he will send us our little angel that we have been praying for. We have however decided to add a few pets to the clan. We have about 9 frogs in our aquarium, and we bought a cat. Funny story. We went to PetSmart to get some stuff for the aquarium, and they had these kittens that a family brought in because they hadn't fixed their cat and they could not take care of the extra kittens. We fell in love and brought home an orange tabbie. We named him Aggelium. Before you ask how to pronounce his name its.....a.gel.y.oom. it's Latin or Greek, and my husband would have to explain what it means exactly. Anyway....8 days from now, we will have been married for exactly one year. Crazy huh! This year has been great. We have had our ups and downs, but have learned a lot from each other. We are really excited to continue on this wonderful journey we have embarked on. Marriage is incredible!

Summer outings and such:
So because I have been so busy with work and school we haven't had a lot of trips this summer, but I did get to go to Colorado for my best friend's graduation from nursing school. That was really fun to see her family and well they are practically my family too...it was also great to see my little sister for a few days. Thankfully we were able to help her come out here this week and are really looking forward to exploring Utah with her. We are going to go to the Great Salt Lake, do some hiking, and then head down to Moab for a day trip. It should all be really exciting before school starts.

So Cami, this is for you and everyone else who has been waiting for me to post something. I promise I will try to put up some pictures later this week or the next. I do have a 7 page Spanish paper to write and a presentation to prepare before Monday morning so I may be a bit busy til then, but I will try. Well it's finally spring break, and I have a little bit of time to think. Today Aaron and I went on a long motorcycle ride. It was 60 degrees today! We drove down to where they are finishing up the new Okre Mountain Temple and it is gorgeous. I will try to put more pictures up later. It was really fun and we are enjoying a quiet night at home camping on our livingroom floor for no reason at all...well actually the tv we had in our bedroom went out and we are watching a movie in our living room.

So what have we been up to lately? We are working hard in school and work. I have just started working a whole lot more, and with the 18 credit ours I am taking, it has gotten pretty hectic. Our home has been put on the back burner and so we have some serious spring cleaning this week.

Good News!!!! I got accepted into the Spanish Teaching Program which means that I will be graduating next spring!! There is a light at the end of the tunnel! Aaron is still trying to decide what he wants to major in. We are really excited for me to finish school. We will be here in the University Village at least another year while I finish school.

Anyway....other than that we are just enjoying each other's company and relaxing this week. We are also working on having a baby...but thus far we have had not had much luck. We will keep trying :) Anyway...despite the business and chaos that has been taking over our lives, we are still madly in love and try to find time for the most important things in our lives.....our God and our Love.

Our life now

Well, this week I finished up my finals (Aaron finished last week). Now that we are done with school for the semester, we aren't quite sure what to do with ourselves. We are busy with work, which takes up part of our days, but at night we have been trying to find things to do. We have found, with the new fallen snow, that night sledding is extremely fun. We live in campus housing and in the middle of "the village" there is what we refere to as "the bowl". Basically, the bowl is part of the village that slopes down making for a huge hill! Our friend Ryan has two tubes that we filled up and went sliding down the hill.....unfortunately there are no pictures of us sliding down the hill because we were just having too much fun....but here are some funny photos of all bundled up!

Unfortunately with a few nights of sledding, I got sick AGAIN! However Aaron got to spend a night of night sledding with his older brother Barjona. Aaron gets pretty bundled up like a ninja but sure enjoys his night sledding.

Last week, we put up a Christmas tree It's not much but there really isn't much space for anything fancy here in our apartment.

I know this picture is on it's side.....but its a fun Christmas tree!

About us!

So here's a little Q & A of how we met and fell in love:

When did you meet?
We met around October 27th, 2007. Aaron had just returned home from his mission in the Porto Alegre Brazil Mission. He had been home for about 9 days when i spotted him and couldn't help but love him :)

Where did you meet?
We met at our church. On a sunday night. We were in a single's ward. We have a sunday night "family prayer" called ward prayer that we would meet wiht other singles and pray together.

How did you meet?
I actually heard aaron talking to a friend of mine in Portuguese and I couldn't help but notice how absolutely gorgeous he was and so I went up and talked to him. We hit it off and we talked for a few hours after that....it wasn't long before we were an item.

Where did your first kiss take place?
Our first kiss was on his couch while we were having a Harry Potter Marathon. He grabbed my hand and eventually he kissed me a LOT!

What was your first kiss like?
it WAS GREAT!

When did you realize you were in love?
I think it must have been at some point when I realized that I couldn't live without him....about a month after spending every day together

When did they realize they were in love?
I would say that it was not long after I fell in love....4 months after dating, he asked me to marry him.

Who said "I love you" first?
I told Aaron first, but he wasn't ready to say it back until a week later! I was bummed out at first, but I later realized that he wanted to make sure that when he did say it he truly meant it.

Did you hide your love?
Not at all! Had I hidden my love from him we would not be where we are right now.

Had you talked about marriage with another person?
Not really....

Is your spouse romantic?
Yes he will bring me roses or do other sweet little things out of the blue! He's amazing!

Do you believe that you can change someone?
I can't they can't change unless they want to change themselves.

Would you ever fight somebody over your spouse?
Would I fight for my spouse? I would do anything to protect his honor and his life.

Did you prefer to date various people or did you pretty much fall into monogamous relationships quickly?
We decided that when we started dating, we would be dedicated to each other!

Were you afraid to ask people out on dates?
Yes, but I sure dropped Aaron a LOT of hints to ask me out

What were the negative points about being single?
Not being able to share my life so fully with someone as I do now.

Do you think it's better to look for love or let it find you?
I think you should let it find you. Eventually it will. When I stopped looking he found me and love wasn't far behind!

Have you ever found yourself worrying about commitment?
Not really!

Do you think couples should spend a very large amount of time together or space things out a tad?
We do just about everything together. We work in the same place, basically. I just love being around my sweetie!

What makes your heart flutter and brings a big cheesy smile to your face?
Every morning I wake up and realize that my life isn't a dream!

Do you believe there's hope for people after they get back together or do you think the same problems that caused the initial break up will resurface?
Yes, there is hope but both must be willing to repent of what damaged the relationship in the first place.
.
Do you have a song?
Depends, the song we danced to at our wedding was "When You Say You Love Me" by Josh Groban

Do you have a special word(s)?
I'll love you til forever!

What do his parents think of you?
I am not so sure that they liked me at first really because they didn't know me but now I'm pretty much sure that they love me!

What do your parents think of them?
They love him, and the more they get to know him the more they love him!

How long was it till you got engaged after you started dating?
A little less than 4 months! We moved pretty fast!

Do you own a home or rent a place?
We rent.....easier while we're in school

Who cleans?
I usually do

Who cooks?
About 60% me, 40 aaron

Who is the most stubborn?
We both can be stubborn.

Do you have separate checking accounts?
We're in that....we're getting to the process of joining them

Who is the "bread-winner"?
I get paid more but Aaron works more....so about the same

Who "wears the pants" in the house?
Neither one of us.....who needs pants!

When is the last time you or your spouse bought each other flowers?
This week, Aaron got me 2 dozen pink roses for no reason at all

Do you know your spouses passwords/pins?
Yes I do

Did you go on a honeymoon?
Yes, we went to Southern California....SeaWorld and Disney Land. It was great

Does your Spouse trust you?
Sureley

Do you trust your Spouse?
Yes! With my life, heart, and eternal soul!

Have you or your spouse ever compared each other to someone you have dated in the past?
No, other than saying how greatful we are for each other and never settling for someone else.

How long are you away from your spouse before you start to miss him/her?
One minute

Are you a 2 peas in a pod or opposites attract couple?
A little bit of both! We're alot alike but very different!

So here's just a little bit so y'all can get to know us!

Last Update

Well I know I haven't written in a while....(I'm still getting used to the whole idea of keeping a blog) Anyway...we are doing great. I can. I was sitting in the hospital all night and day and finally Jessica had little cute Addison! Yes it's my "bff's" baby girl's first birthday! What a fun day! After being up all night, I decided to head back to Salt Lake City (and good thing I did!) I made it back just in time for ward prayer where I met the love of my life! Yes that's right, Aaron and I have known each other for exactly one year today! It's crazy! I know some of you may say....wow and you are already married?! Well yeah....it was practically love and first sight. really. Just to think that life would be so full now. I was really ready to finish the semester here at the U and then just move back home, but Heavenly Father had other plans for me. So it is amazing to me that he is my husband and I count my lucky stars that he is there with me through everything. Aaron and I are doing well, just very busy with school and work. I am switching jobs on wednesday!!!!! Finally! Aaron and I will actually share a parking lot in our workplaces. My fall break is fast approaching and I am extremely excited to get a break from it all. Unfortunately we can not do anything for fall break because Aaron doesn't get fall break. Anyway, this is going to short because I need to get back to my studies, but not much is happening in our lives other than just getting used to being married :) Oh yeah, we painted our living room wall, if you can call it that, victorian garnet to add a little color to our little apartment. We finally bought a kitchen table, and I am trying to make our little apartment more of a cozy little home by decorating it just a little bit. Well hopefully I will get to write a little more soon.

Well, Aaron and I were married on August 8th, 2008 in the Salt Lake City Temple. Yes we're Mormon, so if you don't like it, get over it! We met in October of 2007 when Aaron returned home from his mission in Porto Alegre Brazil. Aaron is from Layton, UT. I am from Manzanola (and more recently) Fort Collins, CO. I returned home from my mission in July 2006. I served my mission in Resistencia, Argentina. We started dating just two months after Aaron returned home (after hanging out for two months). We enjoyed each other's company through the long winter months that we had in Salt Lake. At the end of the winter, on April 10th, Aaron asked me to be his wife for all of eternity. He proposed in front of the fountain in Temple Square.
We almost impatiently enjoyed the summer months waiting for our families to meet and finally on August 8th, 2008 we were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City temple. (For more information on temples and eternal families please visit www.lds.org
As many of our friends and families have asked about our lives and plans, here they are:
School: Aaron is starting his freshman year working on his associates in Biology at Salt Lake Community College working towards Pharmacy School. I am in my last year of basic classes before hopefully entering into the classroom next fall and graduating the following Spring in Spanish teaching. Yes I am a super senior, but I'll explain that later :)
Work: I currently work at the University of Utah Hospital in the pulmonary lab, basically titrating oxygen. However, I will be moving over to the Lung Health Study Center in Research Park at the beginning of next month. There I will be working with a variety of studies and doing Pulmonary Function tests. Aaron also works in Research Park for Red Bag Solutions in which he handles biohazardous waste materials.
Children: This is a question many of you have asked and here is the answer. We have decided to not put off education or work to have children. We have decided not to prevent a pregnancy in any way and let a child come when Heavenly Father decides to allow us to care for one. Family please don't worry, we will let you know when we are pregnant. Well until the next time :)
